Earlier this year, Chrissy discovered Pathway to Hope through one of our online ads offering free services. Her initial visit was for a pregnancy test and education about her options, including information on the abortion pill. When she left our center that day, our team was uncertain about her decision and deeply concerned that she might choose the abortion pill. In the quiet moments that followed, our staff lifted Chrissy and her unborn baby in prayer, asking God to intervene in their lives.
We believe in the God of miracles, so we held tightly to hope.
The joy in our center was overwhelming when Chrissy returned for an ultrasound, this time with the father of her baby by her side. Together, they saw their 7-week-old baby and were deeply moved when they heard the heartbeat. This young, unmarried couple was understandably scared. That day, we witnessed a father’s hands tremble as he realized the life growing before him.
While one of our Coaches met with the father, another team member sat with Chrissy to discuss her needs and provide resources to address her greatest fears. Just weeks later, Chrissy began the Crib Award Program, and shortly after, the father enrolled in Dadhood classes.
Faithfully, Chrissy and her now-fiancé attended their parenting classes. When they graduated, they were rewarded with an abundance of supplies and are now prepared to bring home their baby girl later this year!
Our team celebrated every step of their journey, each class attended, each milestone reached. When they completed their programs, words could hardly capture the gratitude and awe felt throughout our center.
Where there is hope, there are miracles.
Thanks to donors like you, God worked a miracle. The option to abort was dismissed, and both a mother and a father chose life. They found encouragement, guidance, and practical support through the staff at Pathway to Hope and received the material resources needed to confidently step into parenthood.
We placed our hope in God, and He worked a miracle by saving an unborn life and surrounding a growing family with the care and support they needed.
By the end of 2025, it is estimated that 79% of all abortions will be chemical (abortion pill). This reality is staggering. Without hope, that statistic alone could feel overwhelming. But at Pathway to Hope, we serve the God of miracles and because of that, we refuse to lose heart. Every day, we see that women facing unexpected pregnancies truly do have another option rooted in compassion, truth, and life-affirming support.
This year, we discovered that the most effective way to reach women who are considering abortion is through Google Ads. In the very first month of this initiative, our ads connected with 36 women seeking help. Just as Chrissy first discovered the center online, we now know we are reaching women at the most critical moment before they choose the abortion pill.
Where God is, there are miracles.
And this community is the channel through which He brings those miracles to life.
This year alone, generosity from supporters has provided life-giving services to the Hamilton community:
- 84 babies were born
- 121 women chose LIFE for their unborn babies
- The Abortion Recovery & Healing Program was redeveloped to support women who have experienced a prior abortion
