Father Services by Pathway to Hope helps an expectant father reclaim his voice through coaching, education, mentoring, and authentic relationships, equipping him to become a confident, engaged dad. It is with that vision that we look forward to this year’s Father Services Dinner. The dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Center Pointe Christian Church, where we will celebrate the impact of Father Services and share the vision for reaching even more fathers.

Dan Kulp is a multi-talented comedian, actor, and author whose life story is as heartwarming as it is humorous. A father of five, three of Dan’s children are adopted, each with special needs, including Down syndrome, autism, Alfi’s syndrome, and spina bifida. He also has four siblings with Down syndrome, three of whom were adopted, offering him a unique perspective on the value of life and the power of family.

Prepare to laugh as Dan shares his parenting adventures and humorous missteps. But it’s not all comedy—his stories are also deeply moving. He will take you on an emotional journey, recounting his wife’s experiences with the infamous “dying rooms” that led to their adoption journey. You will be inspired by their son, Simon, who was abandoned in the woods on the day he was born and later became the first child with Down syndrome adopted from China to the U.S.

Dan’s talents have been showcased nationally, with two appearances on Good Morning America and on The Huckabee Show. He is the author of Confounding the Wise: A Celebration of Life, Love, Laughter, Adoption, and the Joy of Children with Special Needs.
